After bans on single-use plastic bags in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, **Ministerial Resolution 380 of 2022** extends the ban from **1 January 2026** to further single-use plastic products, including items such as plastic cups, lids, cutlery, plates, straws and polystyrene food containers. Hotels, cafés and caterers need fiber-based replacements in volume. ## Paper cups for Dubai and Abu Dhabi **Custom printed paper cups** for hot drinks and cold cups for iced coffee and juices, with matching lids or as **lid-free paper cups**; artwork can include Arabic text. ## Bagasse food containers Bagasse containers, clamshells, plates, bowls and compartment trays replace polystyrene and plastic in restaurants, delivery and hotel service. Ekoroll bagasse is **home compostable & 100% bagasse**, certified TÜV AUSTRIA OK compost HOME; a copy of the certificate is available on request. ## Disposable paper ashtrays For terraces and shisha lounges, the **disposable paper ashtray** is a hygienic single-use alternative to glass and metal. ## Shipping to the UAE Orders ship from Turkish ports by sea to Jebel Ali and other UAE ports; trade terms are agreed per shipment.
