Bagasse clamshell boxes

The clamshell is the workhorse of takeaway. Ekoroll bagasse clamshells are molded in one piece from sugarcane fiber, with a hinge and locking tab, so they are filled, closed and handed over in one movement.

They are a direct alternative to expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam boxes. Under the EU Single-Use Plastics Directive, EPS food containers for immediate consumption are restricted on the EU market, which makes fiber clamshells the practical replacement for many operators and distributors.
