Paper bowls for modern food service

Paper bowls are the everyday container for salads, poke, noodles, rice dishes and hot meals. Ekoroll supplies round, rectangular, square and double wall bowls in kraft, white or bamboo paper, with paper or CPLA lids matched to each bowl.

Choosing the bowl

Round bowls: salads, poke, noodles and soups.
Rectangular and two-compartment bowls: mains with sides or sauces kept apart.
Square bowls: a structured, modern presentation.
Double wall bowls: more rigidity and hand comfort for hot food.
Mini rectangular bowls: sides, sauces and desserts.

Barrier and documentation

Water-based (aqueous) barrier coating is our main option; PLA coating is also available. Where the food needs different grease, moisture or sealing performance, PP- or PET-lined structures can be specified. Food-contact and compostability documentation is provided according to the final product specification and production route. Structures with water-based coating carry DIN CERTCO home compostable and industrially compostable (EN 13432) certification, held by the producing partner; copies are available on request. Water-based coated paperboard and paper containers passed PPWR (EU) 2025/40 tests for PFAS, total fluorine and heavy metals (lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium); the SGS and Eurofins reports are available on request.
