Packaging under the Dutch single-use plastic rules
The Netherlands applies some of the EU’s strictest rules to cups and food containers that contain plastic. Since 1 July 2023, businesses must charge customers for single-use cups and takeaway containers that contain plastic — including plastic-coated paper cups — and since 1 January 2024 such items may no longer be used for on-site consumption. This pushes demand toward fiber-based packaging with less or no plastic.

How do you ship to the Netherlands?
