Takeaway packaging for UK rules
UK foodservice works under some of Europe’s strictest single-use plastic rules. Since 1 October 2023, England bans single-use plastic plates, trays, bowls and cutlery and polystyrene food and drink containers; Scotland and Wales have similar bans. The Plastic Packaging Tax has applied since April 2022 to plastic packaging with less than 30% recycled content, and packaging Extended Producer Responsibility is being phased in.

Orders ship from İzmir, Türkiye, by sea freight in containers or by road freight, depending on destination and volume. Trade terms (for example EXW, FOB, CIF or DAP) are agreed per shipment and stated in the quote.
Are your products allowed under the UK single-use plastics bans?
Since 1 October 2023 England bans single-use plastic plates, trays, bowls and cutlery and expanded and extruded polystyrene food and drink containers; Scotland and Wales have similar bans. Our bagasse, kraft paper and wooden items are fiber-based alternatives for these uses.
What is the lead time?
